Lumber Wrap Recycling

At Veer Plastics, we are committed to environmental, economic and social responsibilities. We work with our partners and companies that share similar values to provide the best possible recycling solutions so you can make informed decisions.

Our recycling policies and programs are aimed at reducing all waste within the lumber packaging industry.  By choosing Veer to recycle your used lumber wrap, we can keep tens of thousands of pounds of waste material out of landfills.

Most coated woven lumber wraps are made from polypropylene and polyethylene using 100% recyclable materials. This makes them ideal for recycling.

We make it easy!

Rather than sending your used lumber wrap to landfill:

  • Collect and densily bale your used lumber wrap, ensuring it’s clean and free of any debris such as staples, wood, paper, metal or strapping.
  • Store in a clean environment until you have enough for a truck load (that’s about 40 bales). If storing outside, We recommend covering your bales with some lumber wrap to avoid weather damage. Please note that if bales are shipped with contaminents and material becomes un-recyclable as a result, you will be responsible for all cost associated.
  • Email us at info@veer-recycle.com to make arrangements for drop off or collection.
  • Once transported back to Veer, the bales will be environmentally recycled. recycling line that can process up to 300 kg per hour!
  • The used lumber wrap is now recycled into pellet form and ready to be used for the manufacture of plastic cores or many other products.
